Wingless Oklahoma Warriors are feeling truly blessed as our 2015 Season comes to an end, we are truly thankful everyone involved over the last 2 years. We are stunned by our huge turnout at Libby’s Café in Goldsby, OK. Libby and Scott were very welcoming as well as their staff, not to mention the food was amazing! Our sponsors really made our Banquet the success it was. We could not have done it without you all!
Also, I am very truly thankful for the amazing support team that helps me so much! You all are so wonderful and these people have been there every step of the way! There is no way we could pull this off without Annie Nestell, Annette Leesekamp, Kevin Barksdale, Jackie Jones! My true hero's! I want to give a special thank you to all the Leesekamps that helped, you were life savers!
We are going into 2016 bigger and better than ever with James Fabian (President), Kevin Barksdale (Vice-President) & Gil White (Secretary) as our new board leaders. Communication is a key this year and we do not plan on disappointing in that area. This year a few of us have bonded together to support our drivers and have created the first “WOW” Booster Club which will include as many volunteers that are willing with fund raisers for our drivers and our community. This rang so true at our 2015 Banquet that we conducted a coat drive for The Homeless Alliance of OKC, OK http://homelessalliance.org/?page_id=251 where we had so many coats for adults and kids that it filled up the back bed of a long bed truck. This is what we are about folks; families, drivers, crews, fans and supporting our community.
