DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 8, 2022) - A new era of Non-Wing Sprint Car racing in the state of Oklahoma begins in one month.
The United Sprint League (formerly USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma) will debut at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma on Friday, April 8.
Returning to its roots, the USL will utilize the Champ / RaceSaver 305 Sprint engine rules which are the same as our winged sister series, Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS).
"The Champ / 305 rules are the dominate engine package utilized in Oklahoma." stated USL Co-Owner, Terry Mattox. "Kerry (Gorby) and myself felt going back to this rule package is in the best interest in sprint car racing in the state."
9 events are currently scheduled for the USL Sprints with Red Dirt Raceway, Creek County Speedway, Lawton Speedway and Caney Valley Speedway all taking part of the lineup.
A full slate of events can be found on our website, www.unitedsprintleague.myracepass.com.
2022 marks the inaugural season of the United Sprint League and fifth overall of the former Wingless Sprints of Oklahoma.
