Sapulpa, OK……..Danny Smith of Sand Springs, Okla. extended his lead in the 2018 Wingless Sprints Oklahoma series standings with Friday night’s 25-lap feature win at Creek County Speedway. He led all but two laps after battling Kyle Clark for the win. Smith actually led the final five laps to beat Clark, Andrew Deal, Brett Wilson and Blake Hahn. Brett Wilson leads the USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma back to Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla. this Friday holding a 12-point lead over Craig Carroll in the standings. Wilson won the series debut at Meeker March 30 and Carroll was the winner on April 20 at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. USAC/WSO Driver Spotlight: Brett Wilson I spent about 40 minutes interviewing 21 yr. old Brett Wilson of Coweta, Okla. Brett is your current USAC WINGLESS SPRINTS OKLAHOMA point’s leader. I found out that he has been in the racing game now for 16 yrs., which means he was punchin the loud pedal at the young age of 5.
